Spring 2022 GSBS Travel Awards

The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) is now accepting applications for the Spring 2022 GSBS Travel Awards. This year, the committee will entertain applications for in-person as well as virtual conferences. Awardees will receive up to $1,500 to help defray expenses related to a scientific conference.

To be eligible, students meet the following criteria:

  • Students must be enrolled full-time in a Doctoral or Master’s Program offered by the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
  • Students must be in good academic standing.
  • Students must have successfully completed the program qualifying exam and applied for admission to candidacy for the Ph.D. or M.S. degree.
  • Students must be presenting at Conference.

Application packet checklist requirements to be considered for the award are attached.

Completed applications must be submitted in the same order as the Travel Award checklist and combined into one pdf document to Mari Alcauter (alcauter@uthscsa.edu) by 5:00 PM on Monday, November 15th.

Travel award winners will be selected by the GSBS Awards Committee and will be announced in December.
