28 Feb 2017
anthonyc

Congratulations to Calais Prince, one of our Ph.D. students who graduated last December! Calais was a student in the GGD Track and was supervised by Les Myatt, Julie Hensler, and Yidong Bai.

Calais has been offered and has accepted a postdoctoral position in the lab of Michele Evans, M.D., Deputy Scientific Director and Training Director for the National Insitute of Aging’s Intramural Research Program (IRP).

Dr. Evans, who is a PI/Senior Investigator in the Health Disparites Section of the Laboratotory of Epidemiology and Population Sciences within NIA’s IRP, is interested in the clinical implications of eukaryotic DNA repair in cancer pathogenesis and aging and her lab also conducts epidemiologic research in the area of health disparities.

Calais will be starting in the Evans lab in Maryland in April and we wish her all the best in the future.
