Winning Big at the American Dental Hygiene Association Meeting
Two of our Master in Science in Dental Hygiene students represented the M.S. program and Graduate School at the 93rd Annual American Dental Hygiene Association Meeting in Pittsburgh.
April Turner presented her poster “Millennial students
learning preferences compared to faculty teaching methods: A national dental hygiene study” at the 93rd American Dental Hygiene Association’s Annual Session as part of a Graduate Research competition.
I am proud to say that April won 1st place with steep competition. She will now be sponsored to present at the
ADA meeting in Denver.
A second December graduate, Ruth Conn, presented the course ” The Dental Hygienist’s Role in the Care of Infant, Toddler, and Adolescent
Patients, also at ADHA.
Both students represented our profession and our
programs very well in the national arena.
