Alum David Bearss is now the chief executive officer of Lehi-based biotech firm Tolero Pharmaceuticals, whose team of scientists is conducting clinical trials on a drug that has shown promise in treating acute myeloid leukemia, or AML.

David Bearss is a PhD graduate of the Cellular & Structural Biology Graduate Program. He was in the lab of Jolene Windle and he graduated in 1999. He was also the CSB Graduate Program’s Distinguished Alumnus in 2012.
