21 Apr 2017

Denisse Paredes

Congratulations to Neuroscience graduate student Denisse Paredes on being selected for a University of Texas Center for Learning and Memory (ACL&M) Spring 2017 Trainee Travel Award! The spring conference will be held April 28-29th, 2017 in Austin, Texas.

The UT Austin Conference on Learning and Memory (ACL&M) is a bi-annual conference that provides an exciting opportunity for neuroscientists to gather, share results and discuss new techniques, developments and directions in the neurobiology of learning and memory.

ACL&M is a multidisciplinary, broadly based meeting on learning and memory with sessions covering molecular, synaptic, systems, computational and human studies. All interested attendees are welcome and graduate student and postdoctoral fellows are encouraged to attend. To support trainees attending ACL&M, travel scholarships are offered to help graduate students and post docs defray travel costs and lodging.

The title of Denisse’s abstract is: ‘Developing sub-maximal fear extinction to model exposure therapy and adjunct treatment for psychiatric illnesses’

Denisse is a member of the Morilak Research Group.

Way To Go Denisse!!!
