Kristen McConnell and Joseph Roring Recognized at COGS Rep. Appreciation

Radiological Sciences Ph.D. student Kristen McConnell and Doctor of Medical Physics student Joseph Roring were recognized at the “New Student Luncheon” in appreciation for their service asthe COGS Student Representatives for 2016 – 2017.

The reps serve as liaison between the students and faculty and help with events as needed (Fall Gathering, Bi-Annual Retreat, New Student Luncheon, Sport Activities, Teacher of the year etc…) They also attend a monthly meeting with the COGS faculty serving as the student body representative. The student representative will bring up an issue or concern a student or students might have at the monthly meeting or at any time as needed.

The student representative is voted in on yearly bases by their colleagues. This school year 2017 – 2018 Radiological Sciences student representative is Holly Parenica and the Doctoral of Medical Physics representative is Anna Laura Licon.
