Candidacy Ceremony & Convocation 2019: Finding a Legacy
The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at UT Health San Antonio was pleased to invite our very own alumnus Leland Page, Ph.D., to deliver the candidacy ceremony address.
Dr. Page received his Ph.D. from our Radiological Sciences program– Medical Physics track in 2012. He is now an adjunct associate professor in the Dept. of Radiology at UT Health San Antonio.
During his talk, Dr. Page spoke about the great memories that he’s had at UT Health San Antonio.
“It’s been 10 years since my doctorate and I still remember the highs and lows,” he said. “You will face challenges but never give up.”
Dr. Page mentioned that his football coach gave him great advice which is that attitude plays a huge role in one’s life.
“Think to yourself what will be your legacy,” he said.
