Additionally, requests for utilization of a classroom for activities associated with a course should be submitted to Dr. Timothy Raabe (raabe@uthscsa.edu) and must include a justification for the request and a safety plan.
Network Upgrades
Wireless internet in the Medical School, STRF, and RAB buildings have been upgraded. Reach out the GSBS Office if you experience issues regarding network access to attend online courses.
Orientation
Due to COVID-19, all orientation sessions offered by both the GSBS and the University will be held virtually. The first mandatory activity will be held Monday, August 17 from 9:00am-11:00am. The GSBS Dean’s Office Team will set up a tent outside of the UT Police Department Office (see link to the campus map). We recommend entering campus from the Floyd Curl Drive, turning left just past the guard station and following the road to the metered section in front of the dental building. Park in any of the metered spots, fees will apply. Once parked head over to our tent where we will be issuing GSBS bags and T-shirts. From there you can get in line for your badge/ parking permit.
Please check your LiveMail student email account for calendar invitations for all orientation sessions. Additionally, Student Life will have their orientation workshop posted in Canvas. Orientation in Canvas is at your own pace but must be completed by August 31, 2020.
