Dr. Rena Bizios named a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors

Dr. Rena Bizios, Lutcher Brown Chair and professor in the joint UTSA/ UT Health San Antonio biomedical engineering program, has been elected a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.

The honor recognizes Bizios for demonstrating a prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on

quality of life, economic development and the welfare of society.
