We would like to welcome Charlotte Anthony as the newest member to our team at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at UT Health Science Center. Charlotte will be working as a Marketing Assistant in the Dean’s Office and will also be responsible for managing and updating our Facebook, Twitter, and Pipette Gazette Blog.

With a Master’s from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Washington, she is passionate about education and working to ensure that different voices are heard.

Charlotte also brings a diverse perspective to the team. She is originally from Singapore and has lived in Tel Aviv, New York, Washington D.C., and Seattle. While completing her Masters in Israel, she taught English at the African Refugee Development Center to refugees from Eritrea and Sudan. She also has experience working with Russian immigrants and international students from Saudi Arabia at the University of Washington.

Charlotte is moving to San Antonio from Seattle to be closer to her family after working for an education nonprofit in Washington. She is excited to learn more about the biomedical community in San Antonio and the impressive research that is done at the UT Health Science Center.

Charlotte has previously worked as a journalist for the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, JT News, and The Daily where she enjoyed writing stories about diversity, study abroad, and the importance of community.

We are so excited to have Charlotte with us!
