Congratulations to Cathy Samayoa, one of our students in the Cancer Biology track!
Cathy has been selected to receive an American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Scholar-in-Training Award to support her attendance at the 2015 Annual AACR-San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) in December.

SABCS is an international symposium, now in it’s 28th year, that is the
go-to meeting on basic, clinical and translational research in breast cancer.

AACR Scholar-in-Training Awards are highly
competitive awards that recognize scientists-in-training for their highly-rated
and meritorious scientific abstracts proffered for AACR meetings.

Congratulations also to Cathy’s mentor, Dr. Raj Tekmal (OB-GYN)!
