GSBS Alum Collecting Donations For Hurricane Harvey
Hi all,
My name is Alison Clark and I am a postdoctoral research fellow at UT Health San Antonio. As most of us know, Hurricane Harvey has made a devastating impact on our neighbors living in the Gulf Coast, particularly those in Port Aransas and Rockport areas.
With the help of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, I would like to invite the UT Health San Antonio community in an effort to help out hurricane victims. We will be collecting relief goods for hurricane victims starting Tuesday, August 29th to Friday, August 1st. My husband and I will be collecting these items and distribute them ourselves to individuals in Rockport, TX and surrounding areas this weekend.
Suggested items include:
1) Dry toiletries and hygienic products (toothbrush, toothpaste, baby wipes, hand sanitizer)
2) Blankets and pillows
3) Dry, non-perishable food items
4) Bottled water
Please drop off items at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Office in AAB.
