Voices 2019 Event: 5 Inspirational Stories of Why Future Healthcare Leaders Chose UT Health San Antonio
UT Health San Antonio hosted the annual Voices Event which featured student speakers from all five schools.
This year’s speakers included Charles Ratcliff from the School of Health Professions, Natasha Bukunda from the School of Nursing, Tara Barron from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Michael Bounajem from the School of Medicine and Daniel Chitty from the School of Dentistry.
“I’m so proud of each and everyone of you and your classmates because you bring the knowledge and creativity to the health science center, ” said Dr. Jacqueline Mok, vice president for academic, faculty and student affairs at UT Health San Antonio. “We’re four years in and each year has become more and more exciting.”
During the event, students played networking bingo before listening to the student speakers.
