Free Community Engagement Symposium on November 7

22 Sep 2020

The Institute for Integration of Medicine and Science – Community Engagement is hosting its annual free Community Engagement Symposium on November 7, 2020.  The CE Symposium is for community members, investigators, practitioners, and students to learn more about community engagement and different research happening in our community.
In addition, the CE Symposium is also seeking abstracts for poster and oral presentations, which will be presented during the Symposium. Finally, a critical part of the Symposium that occurs every year is the CE Hero Awards. These awards are designed to recognize outstanding individuals who have worked as part of a community-campus partnership to improve the health and well-being of South Texas communities. Recipients of these awards are determined based on the community’s submissions, and all awards will be presented during the event.
Here are the links to submit an abstract, Hero Award application, or register for the event.
