Campus Wide Committees – Call for Interest (Due by Nov 12)

02 Nov 2021
anthonyc

Students,

UT Health San Antonio has campus wide committees that serve as advisory boards to support campus wide departments and tackle campus wide concerns/issues. Committee membership often consists of administrators, faculty, and staff.  However, the student voice is also important and select committees are seeking students to serve as committee members this year.  Serving on a committee will allow you to develop your leadership potential, connect with leaders across campus, and play an active role in the success of our university.

Campus-Wide Committees seeking student representation are:

Infection Policy and Education Committee (1 student per school)

Campus Internationalization Committee (1 student per school)

Parking and Traffic Safety Committee (1 student per school)

Computing Resources Committee (1 student per school)

Library Committee (1 student per school)

Health and Wellness Committees (2 students per school)

** Descriptions of each committee are attached above.

If you are interested in participating on one of the above committees, please email Dolores Castaneda (castanedad1@uthscsa.edu) by Friday November 12th.  If you are interested in more than one committee, please list your committee selections in order of preference so we can maximize these opportunities across students.
